Kajans Community College, Birmingham

GW Planning has secured full planning consent for a Community College with related workspace and student residential accommodation at Hockley, Birmingham for Kajans Women’s Enterprise.

This inner city training complex will provide connections to local employment and enterprise for young members of local communities particularly those with African Caribbean roots.

The proposals are in a challenging context near the Ring Road and adjacent to a Grade 2* listed building. Our role included heritage assessment as well as coordination of environmental and transport consultancy inputs.
