GW Planning has secured outline planning permission for TIAA Henderson Real Estate's 'Pier 7' scheme at Salford Quays.

GW Planning has secured outline permission for a student housing development at 33 Parkside, Coventry. 

GW Planning has secured full planning approval for 81 student rooms at Heavitree Road, Exeter.  The development by Sterling Globus Ltd will re-use and extend a former occupational health centre building prominently located in a conservation area.

GW Planning has won detailed approval for a new Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) teaching building at the University of Bedfordshire on the Park Street frontage of their Luton Campus.

GW Planning has secured detailed planning permission for a 26 storey office tower in the heart of Birmingham’s Colmore Row Conservation Area for clients Sterling Property Ventures and Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP. 

GW Planning has secured approval for alterations and extensions to Phoenix House, Newhall Street Birmingham for Ardstone Capital. The scheme will achieve modern office accommodation and a new street frontage.

GW Planning has secured approval to remodel parking and pedestrian spaces within the University of Bedfordshire's Polhill Campus in Bedford.

Friargate, Coventry update. GW Planning has submitted reserved matters details for the pedestrianisation of Coventry Railway Station frontage.

GW Planning has secured planning approval for a 2800m2 teaching and workshop building at Birmingham Metropolitan College's Erdington Skills Centre site.  The proposals for this town centre site aim to enhance the streetscene and meet growing needs for skills training, equipping  local people to compete for employment.

For Prudential Assurance (with developer partner Sterling Property Ventures), GW Planning has secured detailed permission for the 20,000sqm LUMINA office scheme.  The work included negotiating the inclusion of the site in Birmingham's City Centre Enterprise Zone and a S106 planning legal agreement.

Friargate, Coventry.  GW Planning has secured Reserved Matters Approval for Friargate LLP for details of the 'Green Deck' over Coventry's Ring Road.  This will replace the existing Junction 6 roundabout with traffic calmed routes and a landscaped open space with a pedestrian boulevard extending Greyfriars Green in the City Centre to the Friargate site and Coventry Station.  GW Planning worked closely with Coventry City Council's transportation officers and the Friargate Design Team to resolve the submission.  This major infrastructure work has £12.7m of Regional Growth Fund support to underpin the Friargate scheme.

Friargate Coventry. GW Planning has secured Reserved Matters approval for the first office building to be built at Friargate Coventry,  and for the adjacent new Station Square.  The 13 storey BREEAM 'Excellent' offices are to be occupied by Coventry City Council.  The new square with high quality paving, planting, fountain and kiosk will link Coventry Station to the city core and provides the setting for other future phase buildings at Friargate.

GW Planning has secured consent for a New Academic Building and revised access and parking provisions at The University of Bedfordshire's Polhill Campus.  This prominent frontage building will provide modern teaching space to achieve Phase 1 of the campus remodelling Master Plan.  Extensive public consultations were part of the process of securing consent in a sensitive residential area.

GWP has submitted a planning application to extend the Sports Hall at the University of Bedfordshire’s Bedford Campus.
